Dos4gw.exe is a popular Dos Extender. A Dos Extender is a program used by Dos applications which require access to all the RAM (Random Access Memory) without the traditional 640 Kbyte and 1 Mbyte restrictions placed on it by Bill Gates. Dos4gw.exe allows Protected Mode programs to access the RAM as a single block.
